Kayak Fishing ExperienceFitness & RecreationExperience a three-day kayak fishing adventure! We’ll begin with kayaking essentials—safety, paddling techniques, and basic handling—before moving on to targeting the fish species found in O’Brien Reservoir, including bass, northern pike, perch, and panfish. Participants will learn effective fishing techniques. Equipment can be provided with advance notice. Students are encouraged to bring their own rods, reels, tackle, and life jackets. They will also learn how to fillet a fish and may take home their catch each day. Open to students entering grades 5–9. Class held rain or shine.Summer 2026 -

Kayaking ExperienceFitness & RecreationExperience two days of morning kayaking! Day one will be an introduction to kayaking and a tour of O’Brien Reservoir. Day two will be a tour of Larue Pit. Kayakers will see two underwater highways, beaver hut, abandoned underground mine, old mine truck haul roads, and crystal clear water! Bring a life jacket if you have one, if not, we will provide one for you. Kayaks and paddles are provided! Mountain Bike Adventure CampFitness & RecreationPrerequisite: Riders must have the stamina to pedal up the hill to the top of Tioga Focus is on BUILDING SKILLS - climbing, descending, cornering, how to ride over obstacles, and proper bike-body positions - in the terrain park and on the trails. Coached by Sheri Schrock: PMBI (Professional Mtn Bike Instructor) certified, Head Coach ARDENT Mountain Bike Team, 2025 UCI Mountain Bike World Champion, Wilderness First Aid certified MUST PASS BIKE CHECK: working brakes, shifts to ALL gears easily, proper tire pressure.
