In this photography course we will go beyond basic camera settings and discuss how to hone in the photographic eye to your personal tastes. We will discuss different styles, capturing techniques, and what makes a “good” photograph. There will even be an opportunity to have your own work critiqued if desired!

This photography class is all about the philosophy and approach behind the documentary photography style. What it is, how to look for a story to document in actual time, the technical aspects that help us tell a true story, and why this kind of photography matters.
