Students will go beyond the basics of Excel. Designing better spreadsheets. Create lookups, pivot tables, sorting and filters, create rules, and advanced formulas. This class is designed for those with beginner-level knowledge of Excel who are looking to take advantage of the application's more advanced features. Students will learn practical business uses of Microsoft Excel. Including basic mathematical formulas, arrange, filter, format and sort lists of data, Select, copy, and paste data in a workbook, Enter and convert numerical and text data, dates, and times. Participants are encouraged to bring a laptop with Excel preloaded but are welcome to attend the class without a laptop as well.
