About The Program

The Thunderhawks Archery Program is open to ISD 318 students in grades 6-12 who want to learn the fundamentals of archery in a fun, safe, and supportive environment. Under the guidance of National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP) Certified Coaches, archers will develop proper shooting techniques, learn range safety, and build confidence while improving their skills. Throughout the season, archers will compete in Bullseye tournaments, with the option to also participate in 3D tournaments.

Registration

• Bullseye registration fee includes all bullseye tournament entry fees, team jersey and equipment use.
  *Students can choose to pay for individual 3D tournaments throughout the season.

Scholarships Available

Scholarships are available through the Angel Archer Fund. Awards may be full or partial and are based on available funding. To be considered, families must submit a scholarship application, which must be approved before funds are awarded.

Parent Information & Student Try-It Night

Families are encouraged to attend our Parent Information & Student Try-It Night to learn about the Thunderhawks Archery Program, the registration process, season schedule, and important dates.

While parents attend the information meeting, students interested in joining the program are invited to participate in a supervised Try-It Session, where they can meet the coaches, learn range safety, and experience archery firsthand before registering.

A signed parent safety waiver is required for students participating in the Try-It Session.

New Archers Class

All archers new to the program should attend the New Archer Class where they will receive instruction on safety, equipment, and shooting fundamentals.
