Judy Nelson is a writer, teacher and house remodeler. She retired from a long career as a college professor and has a PhD in adult education. She has been the recipient of several Arrowhead Regional Arts grants, one of which involved working with six other writers to publish a book of stories about surviving the pandemic. Grand Rapids is her home, where she teaches at the Macrostie Art Center and for Community Education.
