KinderCamp - ISD 319EnrichmentKinderCamp is for all Nashwauk-Keewatin Kindergartners who are enrolled or planning to enroll in Kindergarten this fall - 2026. This camp will give our youngest students the opportunity to meet new friends who may be in their classrooms in September. It will involve many fun activities that will leave your child looking forward to his/her kindergarten experience. This will be a great chance for your child to become comfortable with the layout of the school, enjoy the playground, eat a snack and lunch in the lunchroom, and meet the kindergarten teachers. KinderCamp will be held at the Nashwauk-Keewatin School and will be under the supervision of our licensed kindergarten teachers. No bussing available. Marble Library Summer EventsEnrichmentPlant a Seed, Read is the Summer 2026 Reading Program theme. Stories, crafts, games, puzzles, prizes and lots of fun will be had by all who want to join in the fun! We’ll meet in Veteran's Park every other Wednesday from 2:30pm - 4:00pm, weather permitting (in the library otherwise): June 3 & 17, July 1, 15 & 29, and August 12th. All ages are welcome to attend. Even adults can get in the action! We'll have prize drawings all summer long for both kids and adults, and there will be Bingo sheets available for everyone to complete for some extra fun! This high-energy, family-friendly program features live animal ambassadors—including snakes, lizards, turtles, and more—paired with fun facts, engaging storytelling, and hands-on learning moments that spark curiosity in every age group. Participants discover what makes reptiles unique, how they survive in the wild, and why these often-misunderstood creatures are essential to their ecosystems. Bugs at the LibraryTuesday, 7/14/2026Time: 2:00pm-2:45pm Join Nature Connect and discover the aquatic insects that live in our Minnesota waters! Participants will have the chance to interact with live insects during this program while they learn all about their life cycles, adaptations, what they can tell us about water quality, and roles in the ecosystem. This program includes live invertebrates in interactive touch tanks. Come prepared to learn, explore, and possibly get a bit wet! Open to all ages. Tech Hub-Deer RiverEnrichmentThe Tech Hub is a youth center for ages 12-20 to explore technology after school hours. Technology available onsite include a recording studio, virtual reality, drone piloting, 3D printers, Xbox, and computers. Tech can also be used in art, creative projects, and design at the Hub.
