Get ready to explore, create, and get a little muddy! At this hands-on day camp, youth will dive into nature through art, science, and outdoor adventure. Campers will learn how to use a compass, uncover the world of trees, discover aquatic creatures, dig into soil health, and investigate insects up close. This camp is all about exploring the outdoors, asking big questions, and having fun while learning about the world around us! Lunch and snacks will be provided. For students entering grades 1-5. Boys Youth Basketball Camp
Players will learn the value of teamwork and sportsmanship in addition to having access to sound fundamental instruction. We are looking forward to a fun week of learning. Players will be divided by age and ability for stations, contests, and games. Players will receive a camp t-shirt. Players should bring a water bottle and wear gym shoes, shorts and a jersey/t-shirt daily. Description & Objectives It is our feeling that individual and team athletic success is largely determined by the athlete's mastery of the proper fundamentals of the sport. We also feel that the time and effort a player puts into learning the fundamentals and developing skills depends on the enjoyment he gets out of his participation.It is our objective to provide each camper with an enjoyable and worthwhile learning experience. We hope to teach each player the value of teamwork and sportsmanship in addition to providing them with sound fundamental instruction.Camp is coached by Boys Basketball High School Coaches and PlayersWhat to Bring: Campers will be required to wear gym shoes each day. Diving Lessons for Experienced Divers
This instructional diving camp is designed to introduce and develop foundational springboard diving skills in a safe, supportive and technique-focused environment. Divers will learn proper safety and body awareness, progressions for takeoffs and basic skills and fundamentals of diving form. You will leave with improved confidence, understanding of correct mechanics and clear steps for continued skill development. Coached by Addie Albrecht, 2x NCAA Championships qualifier, former Grand Rapids State Champion in diving and current member of the U of M Dive Team. Camp is open to divers in grades 8-12 with a minimum 6-dive list prior to camp. -
